Steningedalen Nature Reserve

Place: Naturreservat Steninge dalen, Märsta, Sweden
Time: 1 day in March

My little Sonia and I take a relaxing moment in Steningedalen; a nice little nature reserve close to the town of Märsta. The spring sun is reflecting powerfully in the white snow. The Märsta River runs thru the arranged wetlands of the reserve and makes a perfect home for many bird species. It's fascinating walking on this land knowing that during the bronze age all this was covered by the Lake Mälaren. It was then possible to sail all the way in to where today's central station is situated.
