After a nice car trip me and my good friend Gustav pull in to the parking lot by Vigelsjö Gård in Norrtälje. We are planing to hike along a section of the Roslagen Trail;from Vigelsjö in Norrtälje to the Wira Mill. Usually this stretch is recommended as a two day hike (Vigelsjö/Grovsta-Grovsta/Wira Bruk), but we're planing to make it as a one day hike. At 09:00 am we start off walking in a southern direction. The weather is constantly shifting between a sunny breeze and a hail storm but it feels refreshing to hike under these conditions. At 04:00 pm we take a brake at the cabin Grevinnans Rå, and then we move on to keep our schedule to arrive at Wira Bruk (the mill) at 09:00 pm to make dinner and get some sleep. Feels really good rolling out my sleeping bag just beside a beautiful lake and go to sleep under the stars at -5°C (23°F). The morning after we walk back to the mill to enjoy a luxurious breakfast at the mill cafe; Kaffestugan. The spring sun kisses our faces as we enjoy this morning. Now it's time to catch the SL bus back to Norrtälje where my Jeep is parked. This was a really nice up tempo spring hike that gave us a good variety of terrain and weather.
